The emerging lemonade and healthy food franchise looks to expand its American presence.
Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade, a healthy food and beverage franchise with five U.S. locations, as well as two stores in Hawaii and a further two in Japan, has laid out plans to expand in the Arizona market.
Through strategic partnerships, Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade aims to add more than 18 locations throughout the next 18 months, which is predicted to create approximately 200 new jobs. This is following the acquisition of the brand by C&G Franchise Development in 2019, at which time Wow Wow’s headquarters was moved from Hawaii to Scottsdale, Arizona.
“With its 350 days of sunshine a year, Arizona is the quintessential market for expansion for Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade,” said Tim Weiderhoft, CEO. “Plus, just last year, lemonade was named the official drink of Arizona! We are proud to grow in our home state and offer Arizonans the opportunity to grow a business with unlimited potential.”
Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade was founded in 2012, and began as a farmer’s market stand in Hawaii. It transitioned to a brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2014, and started its franchising journey three years later, in 2017. As well as lemonade, the brick-and-mortar store began offering healthy, locally-sourced food options like acai bowls, avocado toasts, and overnight oats. The brand is also strongly committed to sustainability, and if guests bring back a re-usable Mason jar, they can receive a discount on their next purchase.
Target markets within Arizona include Old Town/South Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Biltmore/Arcadia, downtown Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Tucson.
