Winner of the the UK’s Young Franchisee of the Year Award is Almas Adam, an entrepreneur with three businesses to his name. Adam entered the competitive and highly-regulated homecare sector when he was 24 years old and has taken just three years to build a million-pound turnover Right at Home business, delivering high quality care and companionship services to his local community in Loughton, Essex.
The awards, which are hosted by the British Franchise Association and sponsored by HSBC, celebrate franchise business owners under 30 who have achieved success beyond their years.
Almas later said: “I am absolutely delighted to be named 2018 bfa Young Franchisee of the Year and would like to dedicate this award to my fantastic team of Right at Home CareGivers and support staff, as well as my father, who has always been a role model for hard work and dedication for me…Building a successful homecare business allowed me to grow and develop skills which I have been able to transfer across all the brands that I am involved in.”
