Two master franchise agreements will bring the legacy car care brand to brand-new markets.
Ziebart, a legacy car care brand with over 400 locations in 34 countries, has signed two master franchise developments to bring the franchise to Australia and the Netherlands in 2021.
Opening in Sydney by April 2021, Ziebart’s Australian agreement will see the growth of up to 20 locations throughout the country over the next 10 years. The market was targeted due to its booming automotive industry, as well as the fact that it is the fifth largest country in the exciting Asian market.
The Netherlands will also see its first Ziebart location in April of next year, opening near Amsterdam and then extending to up to 40 locations across the country. This market was chosen due to its high-end automotive market, which will result in higher initial spending on new vehicles.
“We’ve had sights set on developing across the Netherlands and Australia for years – especially the Australia agreement, which has been 20 years in the making,” said Thomas E. Wolfe, president and CEO of Ziebart International Corporation. “Ultimately, this makes these initial steps towards official development especially exciting.”
“Given Australia’s strong automotive ties and the Netherlands’ need for automotive protection services, the regions have a high-demand for high-quality, vehicle protection services from a trusted international brand like Ziebart.
“We look forward to this next stage of continued growth as we work with high-caliber master franchise groups to give communities across Australia and the Netherlands the ability to keep their vehicles looking like-new for longer; inside and out for many years to come.”
In addition to development in Australia and the Netherlands, Ziebart is looking to partner with franchise professionals in markets throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia; specifically, countries like China, India, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia.
